What a night!! :) 1st time been in this venue, thought it was really cool! My debut DJ'ing for the basement, so was chuffed about that :) Also sum guy was doin live vocals over the DJ'in which was also cool. Good night had my myself and Smitty and Johny G made a brief appearance! Then warehouse after party after that :)

So monday night was Halloween, which turns out is Hammys fave night of the year going by the cupboard full of costumes he happened to have in his flat! Night started there then off to West End for a party, then some drinks in Campus :)

Hello everyone....if anyone reads this! Not posted in ages as keep forgetting my camera every Thurs night. Last night was ok, a good laugh, wasnt mobbed but was kinda busyish the whole night....only question is...what happened to Alan the Shagger? Did he go to the club to meet the girl or did he go home..? We will find out next week!

Week before was a good laugh as about 50 drunk Dutch people and wanted lots of Tiesto! And the week before busy again with lots of Students which is always good! :)

After the disaster of last week, we were wondering how this would go tnite, also rocked by some shockin news from Beakster in Thailand (not happy beak) but it all turned out good. Decided to leave the front doors open so the tunesspilled out onto the street and it worked well :) Steady stream of people all night!! Funk has never saw so many girls in McCabes!! Shout out to the gorgeous Laura and Gil for coming up :)

So it wasnt officially a FAB night but we'll just say it was a team building session ;) Got free tickets for the launch of a new Bud Beer...think of Bud mixed with V or Red Bull...free bar all night and it was actually quite nice :) Add to that Dominic from Bamboo (who i met the Sat after, top guy) and Sister Bliss, who i got a wee chat with on the night and its a top night!! Pity we ended up in the grage after it but never mind ;) Then had to sleep on the Kitchen floor because of Funks snoring!! Grr.....

FAB's 4 & 5 and its business as usual! FAB 4 was a quieter afair, everyone quite civilised and just sitting having a drink. Shouts out to Smitty, Nic, Jo and Donna (who stayed off the cider) for cuming up along with everyone else. FAB 5 started off pretty quiet untill Wee Andy and his drunken Northern Irish mated turned up steamin!! Was a great laugh, add to that some girls for them to show off to and it made a good night!! :) Including a dance off with andy and a few of his mates and Wendy!! Fantastic!

The 3rd FAB night goes down as the best so far....! DJ Brin kicked it all off as DJ Funk was away watching a boxing match along with the rest of Ayr! Pub was filling up nicely and when the fight ended at 10, McCabes was packed!! :)

Night was mostly house music and hardly any Hip Hop as the crowd was loving it.....everyone dancing and singing and having a great time! Big shout out to Everyone there Gillian, PR Manager Andy, Kev and all the usual gang :) Good night had by all. Also talk of someone from Maddisons in to watch us....could be a possibility :) !!!!

FAB 1 & 2

It all started on 21st July 2005 in McCabes pub in Ayr. F.A.B (Funky and Brian) kicked off their journey to Superstar Dj status. Pressure was on since Frazer the owner was there to keep a watchful eye and make sure we didnt F*ck up! Night went well, Funk playing the hip hop and Brin spinnin the Funky house. Andy the 'PR Manager and FAB founder' managed to pull in the crowd and everyone had a good night, cheap drink and quality music! Shout out to Smittys wife Nic who had a bit too much of a good night ;)

All in all we were pretty pleased with the first night got the crowd in and the mixing went ok, but bit of room for improvement! Frazer seemed happy which is always good! Headed off to Madisons after it, wasnt the best night ever, think it will have to be the club next time!

Second night happened on 29th July, Funk was working on the bar and had 2 fit a few sneaky sets in when the bar wasnt busy. didnt have the crowd of the opening night, average age of the night was about 80 i think, but a few of the old guys were dancing ;) A Few youngsters amaaged to sneak in...shout out to Smitty, Nic, Kev, Baldy an their pals. Crowd wasnt the same but the mixing was getting to the amazing stage! Funk trying some house and Brin mixing a blend of House with the odd hip hop tune thrown in to perfection! Had a good laugh anyway and headed off to Club De Mar afterwards. Think we might have to take over the Club on thurs nights :)
